According to a statement that the pop star suffered "severe attack of food poisoning caused by lack of water in her Friday show on Chicago's Allstate Center Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn as well as forcing the cancellation of yesterday's concert
Singer said, "I apologize to my fans in Chicago and the Twin Cities for not being able to perform this weekend, but I am going to return in a few weeks to give them the very best show ever!" the "Teenage Dream".
Her Midwest concerts have been rescheduled for August.
